Here we have some photos from Pirates of the Curry Bean with our very own Abby, Thalia & Zoe and some photos of Ellie Ainslie in her dressing room during her professional debut in Aladdin. Well done to all our students.

All Aboard The Curry Bean!

Things are hotting up on The Curry Bean! Rehearsals are steaming ahead and all the children are very excited to be doing the show on 11th December. The set is looking fantastic – my best yet!!! I will be posting photos soon.

Final Footlights Week

Thank you to all the parents who came to see watching week and see how their talented children have grown over the term. I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas & I look forward to seeing you all again in the New year. Don’t forget to book your place!

Pirates Of The Curry Bean

Well I have been very busy sourcing, buying, painting and making props for St Leonards Primary School’s production of Pirates of the Curry Bean! As well as directing I am designing, costuming, lighting and coordinating a show for 120 children! Come and see some swashbuckling fun on Thursday 11th December at 2pm & 6pm at the school. The script is hilarious!

Autumn News

It has been a super term and we have been lucky enough to have some new children join our family at Footlights. It feels like they have been with us forever! A few of you have moved up into our older age group & have settled in beautifully. I love how all my students are so welcoming and have the ability to make fitting in a breeze.

My teenagers have been working on duologues this term for their presentation piece & all being well they will be ready for watching week (GCSE’s permitting).

I have thoroughly enjoyed our mask work and seeing the children developing their physical & vocal skills. Exploring different accents and voices has been tremendous fun.

Mini Foots have taken me on numerous adventures but I have to say that my favourite has to be The Naughty Gnome – simply magical.

Watching Week

Parents are invited to come and see their children in class.

Monday 1st, Thursday 3rd & Friday 4th December.

Have a wonderful Christmas x
